Sports Day

he annual Sports Day took place on Thursday 16th June 2022. The students of St. Joseph’s N.S. had a terrific day and enjoyed the fine weather and the ice-cream! Activities on the day included; relay races, wheelbarrow races, hockey, egg and spoon races, the parachute, tug-of-war, sack races, obstacle courses, etc.

Gardening

The students in Ms. Gaffey’s class participated in lots of gardening activities this year. Here’s some photographs of the students in 4th/5th/6th class planting dahlias and Irish wildflower window boxes. The pupils planted Irish wildflowers as part of the school Pollinator Plan to save the bees!
